Form Assistant
The Form Assistant helps you turn a database definition into a fully configured web form. After selecting the datadefinition, the assistant reads the available columns and provides dialogs for configuring the layout, field types, attributes and additional functionality. Forms can be arranged vertically, horizontally or as floating forms, while container layouts allow fields to be organized into several rows and blocks. Special controls such as datalists, user groups, input groups and rich text editors can also be configured without having to build the complete form manually:
- Automatically reads the columns from the datadefinition

- Updates the JSON definition for immediate use

SQL Assistant
The SQL Assistant helps you build the data source behind a web application without having to construct every part of the SQL definition manually. Tables and fields can be combined to create more useful recordsets, while additional fields can be added through SQL expressions and table joins. The resulting definition can provide the data required by lists, forms, catalogs and other K8 elements. SQL additions can also contain aggregation, grouping and filtering, making it possible to prepare business data directly for application views and reports:

Diagram Assistant
The Diagram Assistant makes it easier to turn database data into meaningful charts. It uses the columns available in the data definition and helps configure the fields required for the chart, including aggregation and grouping. Aggregated columns can be added to the SQL definition automatically and then used by the Chart.js component for visualization. This creates a direct connection between the database query and the graphical representation, allowing charts and simple dashboards to be built from the same data definition used elsewhere in the application:

Formula Assistant
The Formula Assistant allows you to define calculated fields directly in the K8 form configuration. A formula can use values from the current record together with operators and JavaScript functions. The built-in editor provides IntelliSense support and immediately indicates syntax problems, while a selected record can be used to test the result before saving the formula. Once saved in the K8 form definition, the calculation can be used in forms and lists and recalculated when the defined input fields change:
- JavaScript formulas using database fields
